INVESTIGATOR ANTHONY GUIDA BIOGRAPHY
Anthony Guida joined the Knoxville Police Department March 20, 1995. He was initially assigned to patrol for five years where his assignments varied from patrol operations in the East District, Field Operations TAC Team, and the Organized Crime Unit. Investigator Guida was assigned to the Juvenile Unit in February of 2001. When the Knoxville Police Department received the Internet Crimes Against Children grant, Investigator Guida was transferred into the unit because of his vast knowledge of computers and the Internet.
Investigator Guida has worked as a volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. He organized the Neighborhood Watch Program for the John Deere Drive Business Association, a board member for Mental Health Alcohol Rehabilitation Program, and is a member of the Knoxville Police Department's Employee Task Force.
