Investigator Ron Neal Biography
Ron Neal has been a police officer with the Knoxville Police Department for 29 years. He worked as a juvenile investigator for 6 years where his responsibilities included child sexual/physical abuse investigations. He also investigated missing and abducted children cases.
Ron Neal has attended the following schools: 1984 Police Motorcycle Instructor School, Accident Investigation School, 1999, Crimes Against Children (Dallas Police Department), 1999, Protecting Children Online (Office of the Juvenile Justice Department), 1996, 97, 98 Child Sex Abuse Investigation (ChildHelp USA), 1995, six week course on Basic Investigation (Knoxville Police Department), 1996, 40 hour Basic Investigations Training (FBI), 1998, Interviewing and Interrogation Training (Reid), 2000, SEARCH Training, 2000, Internship with the Dallas Police Department for 40 hours, and Internship with Maryland State Police for 40 hours.
Inv. Neal is currently assigned to the "Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force," which deals with on-line investigation and prosecution of child pornography and exploitation of minors.
